What You’ll Do

• Delegate and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Initiate and participate in health promotion activities within the community.
• Develop and maintain constructive relationships with nursing and other health sector stakeholders.
• Analyze, formulate, and implement nursing guidelines, standards, and policies.
• Monitor the utilization of financial and physical resources effectively.
• Conduct quality management tasks, including infection control and clinical audits.
• Manage human resources and oversee the nursing team’s performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and an accredited nursing qualification (Diploma/Degree) registered with the South African Nursing Council.
• A minimum of ten years of relevant nursing experience, with at least six years in Critical Care/Trauma & Emergency Care Nursing Science.
• Management experience of at least three years in a healthcare setting.
• Basic computer literacy and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to work shifts and standby duties as required.
