What You’ll Do
- Provide leadership in coordinating nursing services within designated levels of care
- Manage and monitor the cost-effective use of human, financial, and physical resources
- Oversee nursing research, practice development, and training programs
- Implement clinical governance and work towards achieving strategic objectives of the Nursing Division
- Develop and manage a nursing quality assurance program and formulate nursing policies
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or an equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
- Minimum of 8 years of post-registration experience in nursing, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Strong decision-making skills, ability to work under pressure, and expertise in quality improvement and nursing legislation
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and a thorough understanding of the District Health System
