What You’ll Do

• Ensure that nursing practice is aligned with the scope of practice and nursing standards as defined by the health facility.
• Promote quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee compliance with Health and Safety Act, Infection Prevention, and Control Policies.
• Manage and monitor nursing indicators related to patient care and service delivery.
• Demonstrate knowledge of neonatal care standards and contribute to staff development.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
• Maintain an understanding of HR and financial policies, ensuring effective resource management.

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/degree in Nursing) or equivalent for SANC registration as a Professional Nurse.
• Post-basic nursing qualification in Oncology Nursing Science, accredited by SANC.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration, including at least 6 years in oncology.
• At least 3 years of management-level experience in nursing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and report writing skills.
• Knowledge of PFMA, Batho Pele Principles, and relevant legal frameworks.
• Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
