What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coordinate nursing activities to ensure effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with nursing staff and other stakeholders.
- Participate in formulating nursing guidelines, norms, and standards.
- Manage the utilization of human, financial, and material resources.
- Provide management support and guidance to nursing personnel.
- Oversee training and research initiatives within the nursing department.
- Maintain professional standards and engage in continuous self-development.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and support personnel.
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent).
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience as a Professional Nurse, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, including PFMA and Batho Pele Principles.
- Excellent managerial and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in report writing and problem-solving.
- Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
