What You’ll Do

• Supervise and coordinate nursing activities to ensure effective patient care.
• Develop and maintain constructive relationships with nursing staff and other stakeholders.
• Participate in formulating nursing guidelines, norms, and standards.
• Manage the utilization of human, financial, and material resources.
• Provide management support and guidance to nursing personnel.
• Oversee training and research initiatives within the nursing department.
• Maintain professional standards and engage in continuous self-development.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and support personnel.

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent).
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience as a Professional Nurse, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, including PFMA and Batho Pele Principles.
• Excellent managerial and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in report writing and problem-solving.
• Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
