What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate patient care services, ensuring effective and efficient delivery across various health domains.
  • Supervise nursing staff and delegate responsibilities to maintain high standards of care.
  • Implement and monitor clinical governance and quality improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance health service delivery.
  • Oversee financial and human resource management relevant to nursing operations.
  • Facilitate community engagement and health promotion activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in nursing post-registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Primary Health Care (PHC) after obtaining a relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within PHC.
  • Registration with SANC as a General Nurse and a PHC Certificate endorsed by SANC.
  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) and a Diploma/Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Valid driver’s license and a Diploma in Nursing Administration is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing processes, relevant legislation, and the public service framework.
