What You’ll Do

• Provide strategic leadership for nursing education and training programs.
• Champion continuous professional development (CPD) and in-service training for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Liaise with higher education institutions to align academic programs with clinical needs.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing education programs to ensure high standards of practice.
• Manage the budget and expenditures related to nursing training and development.
• Engage in effective communication between departments and health professionals.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports regarding training and educational outcomes.

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 Qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Nursing or equivalent, with registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC.
• Minimum of 8 years of nursing experience post-registration, including 3 years in a management role.
• A Post Basic/Graduate qualification in Nursing Education of at least one year’s duration.
• Current registration receipt with the SANC.
• Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, the Nursing Act, and financial management principles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
