What You’ll Do

• Delegate and supervise nursing staff to ensure effective patient care
• Coordinate and monitor nursing care plans and their evaluations
• Establish constructive working relationships with nursing professionals and stakeholders
• Participate in developing and implementing nursing guidelines, standards, and procedures
• Monitor the utilization of financial and physical resources in nursing
• Use information technology and management systems to enhance service delivery
• Advocate for nursing ethos and professionalism among staff

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent)
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
• Minimum of 8 years of post-registration nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, including PFMA and Labour Relations
• Strong managerial, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with key healthcare priority areas and ability to manage pressure
• Valid driver’s licence and computer literacy
