What You’ll Do
- Facilitate employer services functions across the province.
- Coordinate the assessment, validation, and adjudication of unemployment claims.
- Oversee registry services, ensuring efficient management and operation.
- Manage local appeals and complaints related to unemployment insurance.
- Provide general support and manage resources effectively within the unit.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Operations Management, Public Management, Business Administration, or related fields at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including two years in a functional operations role and two years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of the Unemployment Insurance Act, Treasury Regulations, and Public Service regulations.
- Proficiency in computer skills, report writing, time management, communication, customer relations, and supervisory skills.
