What You’ll Do

• Provide technical, programmatic, and implementation support for disability, rehabilitation, eye care, palliative care, and elderly care programs.
• Lead the development, review, and implementation of guidelines and standard operating procedures to enhance service delivery.
• Offer technical input into national and provincial tenders for assistive technologies and therapeutic materials.
• Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of service delivery projects to inform planning and quality improvement.
• Foster intersectoral collaboration with other government departments, institutions, and partners to enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification for registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, or Audiologist.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in one of the aforementioned fields.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience post-registration with HPCSA.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as required, with a valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
• Knowledge of relevant policies, legislation, and guidelines related to health services for the disabled and elderly.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and implementation skills within health systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
