What You’ll Do
- Provide technical, programmatic, and implementation support for disability, rehabilitation, eye care, palliative care, and elderly care programs.
- Lead the development, review, and implementation of guidelines and standard operating procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Offer technical input into national and provincial tenders for assistive technologies and therapeutic materials.
- Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of service delivery projects to inform planning and quality improvement.
- Foster intersectoral collaboration with other government departments, institutions, and partners to enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification for registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, or Audiologist.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in one of the aforementioned fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience post-registration with HPCSA.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as required, with a valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
- Knowledge of relevant policies, legislation, and guidelines related to health services for the disabled and elderly.
- Strong project planning, coordination, and implementation skills within health systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
