What You’ll Do
- Write comprehensive testing documents to ensure software aligns with business needs
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to determine testing functionalities
- Prepare and execute test cases, logging defects during testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Track and ensure resolution of all identified defects
- Carry out regression testing to verify code changes and fixes
- Maintain configuration management documentation for the testing environment
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure the testing environment is set up properly
- Introduce automation tools for testing to enhance efficiency
- Develop and deliver training manuals and sessions for system users
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience as a System Developer or System Tester
- Proficiency in web technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, and related tools
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Management skills and experience in business planning and development
