What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and review the procurement needs of the Cluster.
- Manage the annual demand management plan and procurement plan.
- Oversee the bidding process and compile invitations for quotations.
- Ensure accurate vendor data management using SAP.
- Supervise contract administration and compliance with service agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage the requisitioning of goods and services, including safe keeping and distribution.
- Lead a team to provide effective Supply Chain Management services and administrative functions.
- Conduct risk management assessments and implement fraud prevention strategies.
- Facilitate the development and training needs of staff.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant tertiary qualification at NQF level 7 in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in supply chain management.
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Management policies, financial accounting principles, and relevant legislation.
- Practical experience using SAP and strong computer literacy skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on client orientation.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and government financial systems.
