What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and review the capturing of all procurement transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the allocation of goods received, ensuring they meet quality and policy standards.
  • Supervise and manage staff to enhance the effectiveness of supply chain management protocols.
  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies to optimize resource use.
  • Manage the institutional quotation process, including specifications, evaluations, and adjudications.
  • Establish control systems for departmental assets to prevent loss and misuse.
  • Direct contract management services and manage service level agreements with suppliers.
  • Ensure effective inventory and fleet management within the hospital.

What You’ll Need

  • A recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commercial, Economic, or Financial services.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Supply Chain Management field, including 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Valid driver’s license (excluding persons with disabilities).
  • Proficiency in LOGIS systems and computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Extensive knowledge of public sector supply chain management and related legislation.
  • Strong written and communication skills, along with effective managerial capabilities.
