What You’ll Do

• Plan and coordinate daily activities in the Radiation Therapy department.
• Manage departmental operations, including patient and staffing schedules.
• Ensure optimal clinical management and governance of Radiotherapy services.
• Order and maintain supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Monitor performance improvement, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in developing department policies and treatment programs.
• Manage human resources, providing clinical support and training for junior staff.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement processes, and expenditure control.
• Promote Radiotherapy services and contribute to research initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification in radiotherapy, allowing for HPCSA registration as an independent practitioner.
• Current HPCSA registration as a Radiotherapist (Independent Practice).
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience post-community service, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience in a hospital environment, with supervisory experience being an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of legislation guiding clinical healthcare in the public sector.
• Good communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
