What You’ll Do
- Ensure adherence to PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations, and SCM frameworks.
- Manage the quotation processes and maintain compliance with department policies.
- Oversee Transversal contracts and ensure timely payments.
- Create and authorise purchase orders in alignment with SCM processes.
- Maintain the integrity of LOGIS and manage reports related to procurement.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary mitigating measures.
- Manage financial reporting, including monthly and annual statements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and ensure their performance development.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year post-matric qualification (NQF level 6) in Public Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement Logistics.
- A minimum of three years of relevant supervisory experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Strong knowledge of Treasury Regulations and legislation governing SCM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, LOGIS, and BAS.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Capability to solve problems and attend to detail with excellent numeracy skills.
