What You’ll Do

  • Ensure adherence to PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations, and SCM frameworks.
  • Manage the quotation processes and maintain compliance with department policies.
  • Oversee Transversal contracts and ensure timely payments.
  • Create and authorise purchase orders in alignment with SCM processes.
  • Maintain the integrity of LOGIS and manage reports related to procurement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary mitigating measures.
  • Manage financial reporting, including monthly and annual statements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and ensure their performance development.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant three-year post-matric qualification (NQF level 6) in Public Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement Logistics.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant supervisory experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury Regulations and legislation governing SCM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, LOGIS, and BAS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Capability to solve problems and attend to detail with excellent numeracy skills.
