What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate investigations into misconduct and manage disciplinary hearings.
  • Oversee the resolution of grievances during meetings and facilitate grievance resolutions.
  • Compile investigation reports and make recommendations to the Deputy Director.
  • Conduct training sessions on grievance and dispute procedures.
  • Represent the department in disputes referred to GPSSBC, CCMA, PSCBC, and the Labour Court.
  • Draft legal opinions on labour matters and coordinate awareness programs on the Code of Conduct.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Labour Relations/Labour Law/LLB recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of three years relevant experience at a supervisory level in a Labour Relations environment.
  • Valid driver’s license (exempt for persons with disabilities).
  • In-depth knowledge of public service legislation, regulations, and labour laws.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent planning and organizing abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
