What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and review financial planning processes to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyse and quality assure budget preparation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop templates for budgeting information collection from various functionaries.
  • Monitor cash flow requirements and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Supervise the preparation of adjustment estimates and provide feedback to relevant components.
  • Compile information for interim and annual performance reports.
  • Evaluate and provide guidance on management accounting reporting processes.
  • Manage departmental policies and procedures related to management accounting.
  • Allocate duties to personnel and monitor performance, addressing training needs as required.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Financial Management at NQF level 7.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, GRAP, BAS, PERSAL, and LOGIS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
