What You’ll Do

  • Monitor business registrations in accordance with the Limpopo Business Registration Act to ensure compliance.
  • Provide secretariat services to the Limpopo Local Liquor Authority and Limpopo Provincial Liquor Board.
  • Administer liquor licensing processes, including handling applications and communicating board decisions.
  • Conduct compliance oversight and promote public education on liquor laws and responsible drinking.
  • Track and report on liquor-related revenue, including licensing fees and penalties.
  • Coordinate liquor and business workshops and awareness programs.
  • Manage and facilitate resources in line with relevant directives and legislation.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF Level 6 qualification in Commerce, Business Management, Economics, Public Administration, Commercial Law, Law, or a similar field.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in Liquor and Business Regulations.
  • A valid driver’s license (exceptions apply for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and government regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and planning/organizing tasks.
  • Customer relations and service delivery innovation skills.
