What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the administration of income lease agreements for state-owned properties.
  • Facilitate the processing, approval, and execution of lease agreements in line with policy.
  • Monitor alignment of lease agreements with market-related valuations and departmental guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with lease conditions and facilitate corrective interventions when necessary.
  • Oversee the accurate updating of lease registers and manage billing submissions.
  • Coordinate the processes for terminating and renewing income leases.
  • Conduct property exit inspections and maintain asset safeguarding protocols.
  • Manage municipal services accounts for leased properties and ensure accuracy in billing.
  • Supervise allocated resources and maintain high work standards within the team.
  • Develop job descriptions and implement work plans for team members.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate.
  • Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Law, Real Estate, Property Management, or Town & Regional Planning.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role related to property management.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative frameworks governing public service, lease administration, and contract management.
  • Financial analysis skills related to lease billing and municipal accounts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing and problem-solving.
