What You’ll Do
- Coordinate cleaning services across district facilities to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Facilitate the development of specifications and procurement processes for cleaning services.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with service delivery standards.
- Oversee contract administration, including verification of service delivery and payment certifications.
- Coordinate gardening and landscaping services for state facilities.
- Conduct condition assessments for state-owned facilities to inform maintenance planning.
- Plan and conduct utilization inspections to assess space usage and compliance.
- Implement health and safety audits across facilities to ensure legislative compliance.
- Supervise team members, ensuring high-quality outputs and staff development.
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Facilities Management, Property Management, Horticulture & Landscaping, Real Estate, Building, or Construction Management.
- A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in Facilities Management.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- In-depth knowledge of the legislative framework governing Public Service, including GIAMA and PFMA.
- Strong skills in planning, coordination, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in MS Office and Facilities Management Systems.
- Competence in report writing and data analysis.
