What You’ll Do

  • Provide logistical support to NDPP-UDFG and NDPG governance structures and forums.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including internal departments and municipal entities.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and correspondence for meetings.
  • Manage financial administration and human resource services for the NDPP UDFG and NDPG.
  • Process payments and manage invoices for service providers.
  • Assist in grant management and project oversight, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Support the review of municipal reports and preparation of evaluation summaries.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and provide recovery plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate technical assessments for municipal projects, ensuring readiness and alignment with urban development goals.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Grade 12 qualification, along with a Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Urban Development, Civil Engineering, or Financial Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in urban development or grant financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal service delivery challenges and local government operations.
  • Experience in managing urban and infrastructure development projects.
  • Understanding of construction project analysis and oversight processes.
  • Project Management qualification is an added advantage.
