What You’ll Do

• Draft comprehensive reports and provide recommendations based on investigation findings.
• Coordinate with the Directorate: Investigations on provincial activities related to investigations.
• Scrutinize information regarding corrupt activities by officials and outside syndicates.
• Facilitate and support mandated stakeholders in investigating crime and corruption.
• Open and manage files or dockets for various investigations.
• Develop and interpret statistical data on investigation cases.
• Monitor and maintain the intelligence management system in the province.
• Testify in disciplinary and criminal proceedings when required.
• Facilitate the development and enforcement of related policies and procedures.
• Conduct training and awareness programs on hotline and disciplinary policies for employees and management.

What You’ll Need

• An undergraduate qualification in Law, Criminal Justice, Forensic Investigation, or Policing at NQF level 6, as recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience at a supervisory level in an investigation environment.
• Strong knowledge of South African legislation and public service frameworks.
• Familiarity with Minimum Information Security Standards and Anti-corruption Framework.
• Excellent skills in communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and work extended hours.
