What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the effective functioning of the Integrated Management and Labour Committee (IMLC).
- Act as secretarial support for the IMLC, documenting meetings and decisions.
- Maintain and report on labour relations statistics to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on labour relations issues.
- Assist with the preparation for conciliation and arbitration, representing the department when required.
- Handle grievances and disciplinary matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
What You’ll Need
- A 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Labour Law.
- Relevant experience in PERSAL and labour relations.
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Garden Route area, Central Karoo, and Cape Town.
- Proficiency in the MS Office package and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong independent work ethic while also being a collaborative team player with good report writing skills.
