What You’ll Do

  • Develop and distribute internal communications including circulars and memos via electronic and print channels.
  • Regularly update notice boards and ensure proper placement of notices throughout the office.
  • Create and implement innovative communication initiatives to engage all stakeholders, including staff.
  • Assist in the production of internal departmental publications such as newsletters, calendars, and promotional materials.
  • Lead internal corporate identity campaigns and monitor compliance with the department’s corporate identity manual.
  • Coordinate and participate in both internal and external events to promote departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the department’s website with current information and resources.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 and a Diploma (NQF 6) in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or Media Studies.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a corporate communication environment, preferably within the public service.
  • Strong computer literacy and photographic skills.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential for this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and integrity.
