What You’ll Do

  • Review, develop, and interpret community development policies to ensure alignment with regional needs.
  • Provide guidance and analysis on the impact of policies within community development frameworks.
  • Liaise and collaborate with various community development structures to enhance partnerships.
  • Conduct research related to community development initiatives and strategies.
  • Manage community development projects, ensuring effective implementation and resource utilization.
  • Coordinate the identification and execution of integrated development interventions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on new developments in community development and management fields to enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Developmental Studies, Community Development, or Social Sciences.
  • A minimum of 8 years of recognizable experience in Community Development after obtaining the required qualification.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation frameworks and policies in the Public Service.
  • Strong understanding of financial and project management principles.
  • Excellent management, organizing, planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in coordinating and integrating services effectively.
