What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement infrastructure plans for the department and its municipalities.
- Maintain and oversee the server environment to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage and support network infrastructure to enhance connectivity and service delivery.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and resolve ICT-related issues.
- Lead and participate in ICT projects to improve departmental efficiency and capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in ICT management.
What You’ll Need
- A Matric certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Information Systems or Information Infrastructure accredited by SAQA.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience at a supervisory level in an ICT environment.
- CompTIA A+ and N+ certifications are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of legislative frameworks governing public service, such as the Public Service Act and PFMA.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
