What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement infrastructure plans for the department and its municipalities.
• Maintain and oversee the server environment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage and support network infrastructure to enhance connectivity and service delivery.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and resolve ICT-related issues.
• Lead and participate in ICT projects to improve departmental efficiency and capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in ICT management.

What You’ll Need

• A Matric certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Information Systems or Information Infrastructure accredited by SAQA.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience at a supervisory level in an ICT environment.
• CompTIA A+ and N+ certifications are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of legislative frameworks governing public service, such as the Public Service Act and PFMA.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
