What You’ll Do

  • Collect and record revenue through various payment methods, including cash and electronic systems.
  • Manage debt and ensure timely reporting on revenue performance.
  • Monitor and report on expenditure related to compensation, goods, services, and subsidies.
  • Supervise financial accounting staff, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders as required.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate 3-year B-Degree in Financial Management at NQF level 7 or higher.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations, and Provincial Treasury Instructions.
  • Familiarity with the Public Service Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
  • Proficient in relevant financial systems, including Basic Accounting and Logistical Information Systems.
  • Strong skills in written and verbal communication, numeracy, and project management.
