What You’ll Do
- Monitor compliance with financial prescripts and support policy coordination and internal controls.
- Manage the Hospital Facility Board and its administration.
- Ensure effective supply chain management processes in line with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Oversee procurement, demand management, contract management, and inventory control functions.
- Handle BAS/LOGIS payments and Mini Contracts.
- Implement controls for audit compliance and good governance.
- Coordinate year-end financial closures and prepare files for auditing purposes.
- Manage human resources, including planning, recruitment, training, and team development.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in Public Financial Management and Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in BAS, LOGIS, Vulindlela, and ePS systems.
- Strong financial management and supervisory experience.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of financial prescripts applicable to the public health sector, including the PMFA and Treasury Regulations.
- Exceptional managerial and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and communication.
