What You’ll Do

  • Draft frameworks, guidelines, tools, and systems for monitoring compliance with public administration norms and standards.
  • Conduct research for the development of a Compliance Monitoring Framework, including tools and data collection formats.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of early warning and reporting systems related to compliance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance monitoring systems and report on their functionality.
  • Regularly collate and analyze data from the early warning system to identify non-compliance areas.
  • Provide implementation support to departments to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Advise stakeholders on compliance frameworks and relevant information.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance by departments, reporting biannually on compliance status.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate and a minimum qualification at NQF Level 6 in Social Sciences, Statistics, Data Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in statistical analysis, data sciences, or compliance monitoring and evaluation.
  • Strong knowledge of the South African Constitution and legislative frameworks related to public service.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Attributes such as ethics, integrity, teamwork, and effective time management.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management.
