What You’ll Do
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of curriculum services across educational institutions.
- Develop and enforce policies and guidelines for effective classroom management.
- Lead the introduction of new educational programs, ensuring alignment with national standards.
- Coordinate the review of the Integrated Continuous Assessment (ICASS) guidelines.
- Monitor assessments and provide detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate the distribution of learning materials and resources to campuses.
- Provide guidance to improve curriculum content based on industry feedback.
- Conduct workshops for academic staff to enhance assessment and moderation practices.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Engineering and/or Business Studies, along with a qualification in Education (NQF Level 6) recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience as a Senior Lecturer or Head of Division in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of occupational curriculum development, implementation, and assessment strategies.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel long distances.
- Knowledge of the PSET and CET Act, as well as the Skills Development Act.
- Excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in report writing and project management.
