What You’ll Do
- Promote community-police relations and establish community safety structures.
- Implement safety models and initiatives tailored for the district.
- Develop and maintain community policing forums and crime prevention partnerships.
- Strengthen partnerships with Civil Society Organisations to effectively manage crime prevention.
- Coordinate inter-departmental partnerships to address policing priorities and interventions.
What You’ll Need
- A 3-year National Diploma (NQF level 6 or higher) in Social Sciences, Police Science, or a relevant qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Crime Prevention and Partnerships environment.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to work extended hours.
- Knowledge of the Constitution, Public Service Act, and relevant crime prevention policies.
- Strong communication, project management, report writing, and financial management skills.
- Conflict resolution skills and proficiency in computer applications.

Requirements
A 3-year National Diploma (NQF level 6 or higher) in Social Sciences / Police science or relevant equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA, together with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Crime Prevention and Partnerships environment.A valid driver’s license.
Applicants must be prepared to work extended hours.
