What You’ll Do
- Promote community-police relations to enhance public safety.
- Implement models and initiatives aimed at improving community safety in the district.
- Develop and maintain community policing and safety forums to facilitate collaboration.
- Strengthen partnerships with civil society organizations for effective crime management.
- Coordinate inter-departmental efforts to address policing priorities and enhance community safety.
What You’ll Need
- A 3-year National Diploma (NQF level 6 or higher) in Social Sciences, Police Science, or a relevant qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Crime Prevention and Partnerships environment.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to work extended hours.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Constitution and Crime Prevention Policies.
- Strong communication, project management, report writing, and financial management skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and work collaboratively within diverse teams.

Requirements
A 3-year National Diploma (NQF level 6 or higher) in Social Sciences / Police science or relevant equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA, together with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Crime Prevention and Partnerships environment.A valid driver’s license.

Job Duties
To promote community police relations and community safety structures.Implement safety models and initiatives for the district.
