What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive human resource administration services for the museum.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the annual recruitment plan for museum posts.
  • Facilitate recruitment and selection processes for new hires.
  • Coordinate conditions of service and monitor the records management system.
  • Oversee human resource development and training initiatives.
  • Implement integrated performance management systems.
  • Manage employee wellness services and monitor attendance and leave records.
  • Ensure staff discipline and provide financial management support.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement plans and monitor budget expenditure.
  • Supervise supply chain and logistics management, including asset disposal processes.
  • Manage maintenance of museum buildings and grounds, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
  • Provide secretariat services to the museum board, including preparing documentation for meetings.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate and a relevant Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 6) in fields such as Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or Financial Management.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience at a supervisory level within corporate services management.
  • Strong leadership and strategic capability, with excellent project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector policies and corporate services frameworks.
  • Competencies in financial management, change management, and service delivery innovation.
  • Effective communication skills and a commitment to client orientation.
  • A valid driver’s license.
