What You’ll Do

  • Process permit applications for contracting and marketing efficiently and accurately.
  • Validate information provided in applications to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for issuing permits, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Issue approved permits and maintain accurate records of all transactions.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) qualification or equivalent.
  • A recognised Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in Arms Control.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership capabilities with a focus on strategic management and policy analysis.
  • An understanding of Government Policies, Public Finance Legislation, and the Defence Industry.
  • Attributes such as honesty, integrity, and a high ethical standard.
