What You’ll Do

  • Provide clinical services in alignment with institutional and regulatory policies
  • Oversee the operational activities of Clinical Technologists across different specialities
  • Manage departmental staff administration and management duties
  • Coordinate training programs for Clinical Technology students
  • Ensure the maintenance and procurement of departmental equipment
  • Monitor staff compliance with safety requirements and promote accountability
  • Participate in and supervise clinical research projects related to Clinical Technology
  • Regularly check equipment to ensure safety and functionality

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council (HPCSA) as a Clinical Technologist (Critical Care)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience post-registration as a Clinical Technologist (Critical Care)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to provide after-hours service
  • Competence in critical care and theatre management
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, finance management, and human resources
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent computer skills and report writing abilities
  • Understanding of conflict resolution strategies
