What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and review of policies governing examination and assessment information systems.
- Analyze existing policies and draft updates based on stakeholder consultations.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of examination and assessment policies.
- Oversee the development and optimal implementation of new assessment and examination systems in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate procurement processes and ensure specifications for proposed systems are met.
- Manage the governance and operational integrity of examination and assessment systems, including setting up Change Control Boards.
- Coordinate training and capacity-building initiatives for users of assessment and examination systems.
- Develop and monitor Disaster Recovery Plans for examination and assessment systems.
- Participate in staff recruitment and oversee performance management within the component.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate (or equivalent) and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
- A valid driver’s license (excluding codes A/A1).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the information systems field, with experience in examination and assessment preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of public service legislation and policies governing examinations and assessments.
- Strong skills in project management, problem-solving, and communication.
- Computer literacy and the ability to manage teams effectively.
