What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and review the capturing of all physical assets in asset management registers.
  • Oversee the allocation of assets to ensure proper management by asset holders.
  • Implement and promote sound asset management practices in compliance with relevant policies.
  • Supervise staff to ensure adherence to effective asset management protocols.
  • Establish and maintain control systems to mitigate theft, loss, and misuse of assets.
  • Manage contract services and Service Level Agreements with suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure effective inventory management across all assets.

What You’ll Need

  • A recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commercial, Economic, or Financial Services.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • A valid driver’s license (excluding persons with disabilities).
  • Proficient knowledge of LOGIS systems and strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management within the Public Sector.
  • Familiarity with the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, and Batho Pele Principles.
  • Good written and communication skills along with solid managerial capabilities.
