What You’ll Do

  • Organize and manage the activities of the Sub-Directorate to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Technology Governance through service level agreements (SLA’s).
  • Develop, maintain, and implement policies and strategies for business processes and systems.
  • Provide operational leadership regarding business processes and systems.
  • Prepare and communicate system requirements and technical specifications to relevant audiences, including testers and developers.
  • Design solutions and write programmes to enhance or develop new systems/applications.
  • Conduct quality assurance on business systems, preparing documentation and executing test cases.
  • Maintain and support developed solutions while promoting technology for service delivery.
  • Supervise and develop staff to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable team.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) or National Diploma in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Extensive relevant experience in System Analysis, System Development, and Software Testing.
  • Database knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, and MySQL is essential.
  • Understanding of programming languages such as C/C++, Visual Basic, C#, Java, XML, Angular, and BI reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Business Process principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Proficiency in creating, composing, and editing written materials.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
