What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and oversee the processing of applications for personal amendments and rectifications on the NPR.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and departmental policies during all processes.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to prevent errors and irregularities.
- Coordinate service delivery between front-office and back-office operations for timely case resolutions.
- Manage and resolve complex and sensitive amendment and rectification cases.
- Utilize automated systems and digital platforms to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain accurate records and performance reports related to amendment and rectification transactions.
- Escalate any irregularities or suspected fraudulent activities according to prescribed procedures.
- Engage with stakeholders and coordinate intergovernmental relations.
- Contribute to policy development, governance, and operational oversight within the unit.
- Ensure effective management of human, physical, and financial resources within the team.
- Coach and guide staff on best practices and compliance.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Operations Management, Public Management, Administration, or Business Management at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role within a client or customer services environment.
- Knowledge of the South African Citizenship Act, Passport and Travel Documents Acts, Immigration Act, and Refugee Act.
- Understanding of migration patterns and population movement within South Africa.
- Familiarity with departmental legislation, Human Resources prescripts, LRA, BCEA, and Public Service Regulations.
- Strong skills in strategic capability, leadership execution, and service delivery innovation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
