What You’ll Do

  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with labour legislation.
  • Investigate reported cases of contraventions related to labour laws.
  • Draft inspection plans and compile reports and statistics on allocated cases.
  • Carry out proactive inspections to monitor compliance regularly.
  • Manage resources effectively within the sub-section to support operational goals.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Labour Relations, Human Resources Management, Public/Business Management, or Administration (minimum three years).
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • A minimum of two years functional experience in Inspection or Administration Services.
  • Sound knowledge of the Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
  • Strong skills in facilitation, planning, organization, and computer literacy.
