What You’ll Do

  • Manage the financial accounting process to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Oversee user access to financial and personnel systems such as BAS and Persal.
  • Coordinate the Provincial budget review and resource utilization analysis.
  • Monitor revenue management, petty cash, and debt across the province.
  • Manage overall expenditure and resource allocation for your section.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) or an Undergraduate Bachelor/BCOM Degree (NQF 7) in Accounting, Financial Management, Cost and Management Accounting, or Internal Audit.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in financial management, with at least two years at a supervisory level or as a Senior/Admin Officer.
  • Knowledge of current DPSA and National Treasury Financial Circulars, Public Service Regulations, and Batho Pele Principles.
  • Strong skills in financial management, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in BAS and basic knowledge of Persal and the iRequest System.
