What You’ll Do
- Conduct capacity-building workshops for NPOs and sector-specific training programs.
- Facilitate the registration of NPOs in accordance with the NPO Act.
- Support and implement departmental special programs to enhance community development.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation and policies related to NPOs.
- Maintain and update the district database of NPOs to ensure accurate information.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification at NQF Level 6 or equivalent in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in Community Development.
- A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
- Strong knowledge of community dynamics, development principles, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Competence in project management and human resource management.
