What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks for hospital equipment and facilities.
- Conduct daily checks on generators, oxygen systems, and other machinery.
- Follow emergency maintenance protocols and adhere to maintenance schedules.
- Manage and supervise maintenance team activities, ensuring effective operations.
- Organize and maintain the workshop, including tools and stock control.
- Participate in site meetings and provide specifications for service provider jobs.
- Assist with administrative duties and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing tasks.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum educational qualification: Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in workshop-related tasks and maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB/C) is required.
- Physical fitness to perform duties, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work overtime, standby shifts, and travel to outreach sites.
- Knowledge and skills in repairs and maintenance of hospital equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
