What You’ll Do

  • Provide line administrative support services to the Management and Governance Component.
  • Offer management support to staff in all administrative duties.
  • Develop and maintain processes and systems that enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee the flow of information and documents to and from key stakeholders.
  • Prepare, verify, and document responses from schools and stakeholders.
  • Collate and compile various reports related to management and governance.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance against predetermined objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate workshops, large meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintain an effective filing system and manage procurement activities.
  • Draft documentation and ensure proper communication within the office.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate (or equivalent) and a post-matric qualification of at least one year.
  • 3-5 years of relevant clerical or administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of provincial and national education strategies.
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages and computer programs.
  • Basic financial administration skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to work under pressure and make sound judgments.
  • Team player with the ability to analyze documents and situations.
