What You’ll Do

  • Receive and verify PW21 forms, ensuring they are correctly completed and dated.
  • Verify budget allocation codes for the Public Works and Transport Entities (PMTE and DPW).
  • Check compliance with all relevant systems and regulations.
  • Ensure that verified PW21 forms receive orders and prevent duplication.
  • Update the order book and submit travel bookings to the travel agent.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for exceptions and deviations.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets to assist with financial statements for DPW and PMTE.
  • Process and administer invoices received from the Travel Management Company (TMC).
  • Reconcile invoices against commitment registers and ensure they meet compliance standards.
  • Facilitate the timely payment of travel invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate and compile both weekly and monthly statistics related to travel services.
  • Provide administrative support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in the logistics or public service sectors.
  • A valid driver’s license is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, provisioning policies, and financial regulations, including the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to adapt work schedules to meet office requirements.
