What You’ll Do
- Provide support to units regarding orders for goods and services.
- Verify compliance of requests for goods and services from various units.
- Generate order numbers and communicate with suppliers and units.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and manage cancellations as necessary.
- Support the administration of the LOGIS system and assist in compiling monthly reconciliation reports for suppliers.
- Process invoices and ensure compliance with payment protocols.
- Manage and oversee mobile devices allocations and applications.
- Perform general administration and supervisory functions, including monitoring subordinate performance.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, or Logistics.
- Relevant experience in Provisioning and Logistics Management.
- Knowledge of LOGIS, BAS, and familiarity with Sage, Archibus, and Reapatala systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations, along with government procurement legislation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with basic numeracy and statistical capabilities.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to office schedules.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
