What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Directorate.
- Arrange meetings, conferences, and workshops, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the Director, optimizing schedules and itineraries.
- Maintain and oversee the Directorate’s filing system, ensuring easy access and organization of documents.
- Support financial administration activities, including procurement of goods and services.
- Manage the creation of orders and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Compile documentation for quality assurance visits and prepare files for submission approval.
- Assist with inventory management and maintain the Directorate’s asset register.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Management, Office Management, or a related qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administration or office environment.
- Strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including Logis and BAS systems.
- Familiarity with financial and procurement procedures, as well as departmental policies.
- Proficiency in computer literacy with sound organizing and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Good interpersonal relations skills and the ability to manage conflicts amicably.
- Willingness to work long hours voluntarily and under pressure when necessary.
