What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Directorate.
- Receive and register incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Liaise with public entities regarding Strategic Plans and performance submissions.
- Conduct preliminary analysis of draft performance plans against guidelines.
- Arrange and coordinate monthly and quarterly meetings for the Directorate.
- Draft minutes of meetings and follow up on action items.
- Send reminders for quarterly report submissions and prepare relevant documents.
- Manage petty cash requests and support procurement activities.
- Make travel arrangements and facilitate travel claims for officials.
- Maintain and oversee the filing system and assist with financial management tasks.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate is essential.
- A post-matric qualification and relevant administrative experience will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and public service prescripts.
- Familiarity with procurement policies and financial management procedures.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and good communication skills.
- Strong report writing and interpersonal relations skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure.
- Ability to gather and analyse information independently and as part of a team.
