What You’ll Do
- Implement and administer the Workplace Skills Plan at the district level
- Assist in identifying and collating training needs for educators
- Support the drafting and execution of the Workplace Skills Plan
- Maintain accurate and thorough administration of training interventions
- Compile training reports aligned with the SETA requirements
- Manage the nomination process for in-service training and Teacher Qualification Improvement Programmes
- Oversee the roll-out of the District Professional Development Plan
- Monitor and administer professional participation at school level
- Ensure accurate data capture related to teachers’ professional development
- Compile submissions for the CPTD Management System
- Provide administrative support to teachers regarding professional development
- Administer the National Teaching Awards process at the district level
- Assist in the administration of Staff Performance Management Systems
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate (or equivalent)
- At least 1 year of clerical or administrative experience
- Knowledge of applicable public service procedures and policies
- Understanding of people management processes and labour relations
- Skills in problem-solving, budgeting, and project planning
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities
- Proficient in computer literacy and analytical skills
