The Western Cape College of Nursing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Officer: Finance to join their Central Administration office located in Stikland, Western Cape. In this position, you will be responsible for authorizing payments, managing asset and liability accounts, and ensuring compliance with payment processes. What You’ll Do
- Authorize payments using BAS and Logis systems
- Manage asset and liability accounts with accuracy
- Oversee the performance and development of subordinate staff
- Ensure compliance of payment batches and financial reporting
- Compile and report on In-Year Monitoring (IYM), Asset & Liability accounts, and Expenditure Claims
- Manage revenue and petty cash expenditures efficiently
- Assist with year-end processes and compliance controls
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject
- Relevant experience in Expenditure, Revenue, and Debtors’ management
- Strong knowledge of BAS, Logis, and financial management regulations
- Advanced computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s license
