As an Administrative Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the capacity of School Governing Bodies (SGBs) and Representative Council of Learners (RCLs). By streamlining processes and enhancing institutional management, you’ll help create a conducive learning atmosphere for students across the province.

What You’ll Do
- Develop policies and guidelines related to financial management and governance.
- Oversee procurement administration and governance processes.
- Manage institution administration, including human resource management and office administration.
- Create systems and standards for effective governance in educational institutions.
- Facilitate capacity-building for SGBs and RCLs to enhance their operational effectiveness.
- Establish best practices for learner administration and physical resource management.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate (or equivalent) and a relevant B-Degree.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the South African Schools Act and FET Act.
- Familiarity with governance and public policy-making processes.
- Understanding of the current government policies and constitutional arrangements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage public relations effectively.
- Proficiency in project management and analytical thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities.
